The Celebration of Eid Al-Adha to mark the remembrance of a time when God looked down upon his trusted and faithful servant, Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) and offered him a to sacrifice instead of his son is not a time for merriment alone but also a time to take stock and reflect on the exemplary lifestyle of Prophet Ibrahim so as to deepen our relationship with Almighty Allah, pursue a life of selfless service to humanity, sacrifice and Charity.
