Nigerians Continue Massive Nationwide Protests Against Hunger Day 2 (Recap of Day 1)

The protest which begun yesterday, August 1st, is set to run for ten days, ending August 10th.

Day one of the protest was mixed across the country with many northern States experiencing violence, looting, vandalism and killings, while states in the South saw largely peaceful protests.

Kano, Yobe and Borno States declared 24-hour curfew to curb violence that they experienced on day 1.

Safe to say peace is not an option for the northerners.
