Get ready Nigerians as NLC, TUC might commence strike this week
Today, Monday 10th June, 2024 will make it exactly 1 week the NLC proposed to the federal government to suspend the strike in to commence negotiations. The FG promised to add to the initial amount of N60,000 which is now N62,000, whereas state governors said the initial N60,000 is too much for them. The NLC declined the new amount of N62,000 saying it is nothing close to their proposed amount.
The NLC has decided to reduce their demand from N494,000 to N250,000, and rumors have it that the president proposed an amount of N105,000 to be paid as minimum wage which the minister of finance denied.
So, brace yourselves because we might experience even a much worse hardship than what we’re facing unless we get divine intervention.
