Kano High Court requests substituted administration on Ganduje in bribery Case

A 10-count charge was brought against Ganduje, his wife Hafsat Umar, and a few partners, by the state government claiming bribery, misappropriation, and redirection of public assets adding up to billions of naira.

During the procedures, the direction for the 6th respondent, Nureini Jimoh, tested the presence of the lead indictment counsel, Yau Adamu, contending that a particular individual had been conceded the fiat to show up for the situation.

Adamu responded by informing the court that due to this challenge, Barrister Zahradeen Kofar-Mata would move the application ex parte.

“My lord, Kofar-Mata has a fiat to appear in any matter concerning financial crime,” Adamu stated. “I urge the court to allow us to move this motion.”

Kofar-Mata continued to move the ex parte movement dated May 29, which was upheld by seven passages trying to serve the respondents through subbed implies by distributing the request in two public day to day papers.

Jimoh, notwithstanding, protested the movement, contending against the utilization of substituted administration.

Equity Amina Adamu-Aliyu overruled Jimoh’s complaint and conceded the request, following the application made by Kofar-Mata, who addressed the lead indictment counsel, Ya’u Adamu.

“The court orders that the service be published in two newspapers,” Justice Adamu-Aliyu declared.

urthermore, Justice Adamu-Aliyu directed all parties involved to present their individual fiat to the court.

She adjourned the matter until July 11 for further hearing.
